Live Computational Videography in Theatre Performance: In 2002, I started working with an experimental theatre company called the Theatre of a Two-Headed Calf after seeing its production of Tumor Brainowicz -- a play based on the life of Georg Cantor. Over the past two years I created a system for live computational video which has been used in several performances. The system captures video images on-stage using video cameras, manipulates using human-controlled custom computer software running on a network of workstations, and then injects the manipulated images back into the set using monitors, televisions and projection screens. For more information, visit http://www.twoheadedcalf.org. At present, I am not working with the theatre of a two-headed calf.
