Science is much closer to myth than a scientific philosophy is prepared to admit. It is one of the many forms of thought that have been developed by man, and not necessarily the best. It is conspicuous, noisy, and impudent, but it is inherently superior only for those who have already decided in favour of a certain ideology, or who have accepted it without ever having examined its advantages and its limits.

Video

Live Computational Videography in Theatre Performance: In 2002, I started working with an experimental theatre company called the Theatre of a Two-Headed Calf after seeing its production of Tumor Brainowicz -- a play based on the life of Georg Cantor. Over the past two years I created a system for live computational video which has been used in several performances. The system captures video images on-stage using video cameras, manipulates using human-controlled custom computer software running on a network of workstations, and then injects the manipulated images back into the set using monitors, televisions and projection screens. For more information, visit http://www.twoheadedcalf.org. At present, I am not working with the theatre of a two-headed calf.

Live Videography in Music: Some recent work with Shawn Persinger.

Sculpture

Woodworking:  Member of the Woodworker's clubs in Rockville Maryland and Norwalk Connecticut.
Some recent projects:  I-cabinetWooden mechanical narrator's camera from Tom Thumb production, Number table.

Metalwork and sculpture collaborations with Delform Studios.
